The aim of this project was to create an environmentally friendly installation out of recycled materials that will benefit all the users of the college being the Dean, faculty, and the students. The name Bee’ah (which means environment) was derived from the name of the environmental management company from which most of the materials were obtained.  Under the lead of Professor Daniel Chavez we created this installation to represent ourselves as the class of 2015 and as an identity of the College of Architecture Art and Design at AUS.
Five types of reclaimed wood were used for this project; Ash, Oak, Mahogany, beach and Pine. Two lamps were also made out of oak and ash and the whole installation is attached to the wall using wooden cleats and metal brackets which we welded ourselves. The existing site was painted in charcoal gray to create contrast with the installation and compliment the color of the concrete ground.
