World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention

World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention : Corporate Identity
The breif was to design a logo for the World Chinese Entreprenuers Convention (WCEC) and a corporate identity manual.
If you recognise chinese characters, the design within the frame is the word "hua shang", meaning 'chinese entrepreneurs'. Coincidentally the characters when divided down the middle, as you may notice are symmetrical. Designed to look like a traditional chinese window and a chinese stamp.
The window, means window of opportunities to the world. A chinese stamp, symbolises trust and agreement, which is what businesses should build with one another. Red, as red for the chinese represents luck and prosperity. Last of all, the frame not only holds the shape of the logo but also means to gather all the chinese entrepreneurs from all around the world.
Below are extracts from the Corporate Identity Manual designed.
Below the line deliverables.
