A boutique store designed at the Leela Hotel Kempinski, Bangalore. The store was designed andexecuted to bring out the austerity which is reflected in the garments designedby Shalini Subramaniam, the proprietor.

Apart from a store, the space also functions as a studio where Shalinidesigns and entertains her clients. The store required each piece of furnitureto be hand crafted and aged (by distressing some pieces) to fit into the schemeof things. The flexibility and casual arrangement allows Shalini to rearrangethe store display often to keep the place looking dynamic.


All the furniture and fixtures were lovingly hand crafted.
