These are process pictures of the glitter trees for "Magic Flute" for Glimmerglass Festival 2015. We started with steel and wood framing with insulaton foam base coat. We covered the  carved foam with Jaxsan and strips of Ramboard and then painted the trees with coats and washes of browns, greys, orange and green. We then spattered multiple glitters and then glued gems to the surface to create the final look of whimsical, colorful, and sparkly trees. Fellow Painters:  Stephanie Nimick, Christi Kneisel, Sasha Glinski, Sage Neighbors, and Melissa Davies.
