I created the packaging using materials to suggest the industrial style of Frank Gehry’s architecture. He lives in a well off area of Santa Monica where he had changed the look of his home to include chain link. This created a huge contrast to the other homes in his area. This is a great way also of creating attention to products. I created the packaging utilizing the look and feel of chainlink and polished metal. The Target store packaging would be created at a lower cost and would be simpler and easy to hang on a wall. The Saks Fifth Avenue packaging will be a box with a chain link door. This will stand out easily among other products and will have a high sheen to draw attention and look expensive with still having an industrial look.
