Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Inc. (CPACS) is a private nonprofit located in Atlanta, Georgia whose mission is to promote self-sufficiency and equity for immigrants, refugees, and the underprivileged through comprehensive health and social services, capacity building, and advocacy.

Objectives// 

Design, print, and electronically publish CPACS 2013-2014 Annual Report for stakeholders and the general public to showcase the growth of existing programs and opening of new programs in a refreshingly visual way. 

Follows existing CPACS brand identity guidelines. 

Stakeholder involvement within the design processes included approval rounds of statistics and infographics.

Approach//

I designed the annual report with the core services in mind. I also concentrated on the goals of the organization which were to continue to build the relationship of diverse immigrant and refugee communities throughout metro Atlanta.

Solution//

I chose a photo of a bamboo forest because for cultural significance, it implies virtue throughout history. Throughout the report, I chose the colors purple and teal to evoke peace as well as compliment the photography and clean, modern visual layout. As you open the annual report as a gate fold, the left page is the CEO and chairman letter with photos and the right page is a photo of CPACS Bhutanese Seniors enrolled in the senior program. The mission statement and information about CPACS are also strategically placed on the right page to emphasize the emotions within the photo of the seniors.

The inside of the report implements a visual timeline of events throughout the fiscal year and includes an event summary as well as accompanying photographs.
