The objective for this project was to pick a street that has or had some significance to you. Choose a building or an area and tell a story. I choose the Holton Youth Center located on Holton and Burleigh, which was purchase by the YMCA. It then change to the YMCA Holton Youth Center. This place is now closed, leaving many kids and teens left on the street. I grew up in this building and worked there as well. I want the viewer to feel what these children felt when the YMCA closed and how it affected them. I interviewed several former members and staff. I then used the interviews as the text for my book.
