Designed as a part of a workshop conducted in collaboration with Lugi, a company based in the Czech Republic, we worked on designs for small household accessories that would highlight the beautiful natural woods used by the company.
Jan Mikoska and I utilized the barks of the trees - that would otherwise be discarded - and turned them into beautiful bookends and wall hangers, that showcased the grain of the woods , along with the natural unfinished bark textures.
