I've drawn dinosaurs since I was little, so its not new to me. I based my dinosaurs' looks mainly on the ones from the Jurassic Park franchise as they have the visually best looking dinosaurs in all media. 

I added colour to the original Illustrations using photoshop. I wanted to give each dinosaur a different colour theme to see what looks best and create more visually appealing images. 

I did more with these images, trying out visual styles, such as size comparisons and featuring more full body images. I like them but there was more I could do with the project. 

For my final images for the Dinosaur project I decided to create 2 'scenes' from prehistoric times, showing the dangers of those times, capturing the moment and telling a story with the images. I did a land and a sea version, to give a different feel with each image. The dinosaurs were created the same way the previous ones were, the backgrounds were all done on photoshop and the textured effect comes from painted paper I scanned in.
