This Piano began as a flicker of an idea for an extra prop to be used in an animated music video.. and I knew I had to make it. The main piano is constructed of Balsa wood though I dabbled in Obeche just to try something more sturdy. The white keys are Oven bake clay (thank you Sculpey!) and the black keys are little pieces of wood, both painted in gloss enamel. I really enjoyed making the piano stool too - my friend said she wanted to sit on it... which was a good compliment!
