This project involved the creation of typographic exploration book on a selected hobby topic, legibility was not a requirement. My choice was the Podcast Welcome to Night Vale.
The Night Vale podcast has a radio host seriously reporting weird and absurd news, so I wanted to keep this two elements as the core aesthetic in this booklet. Purple is the core color in the brand Identity, I mixed it only with the neutral "black and white" combination.
My goal was to achieve something funny but terrifying at the same time.

Mostly Void, Partially Starts
Monday would like you to leave it alone. It is not its fault that you are emotionally unprepared for your professional lives.
Fear is just consciousness, plus life. Regret is an attempt to avoid what has already happened. Toast is bread, held under direct heat until crisp. The present tense of regret is indecision. The future tense of fear is either comedy or tragedy. And the past tense of toast is toasted.
The Night Vale medical board has issued a new study indicating that you have a spider somewhere on your body at all times, but especially now. The study said the further research would be needed to determine exactly where on your body the spider is and what its intentions are. Only that it is definitely there and is statistically likely to be one of the really ugly ones.
Weird at last, weird at last. God Almighty, weird at last.
There is a thin semantic line separating weird and beautiful and that line is covered in jellyfish.
