French Girl in Seattle

http://frenchgirlinseattle.com/
I designed the masthead for the site, art directed the French bull dog watercolor and wrote the tagline. I expanded the palette of the French flag to underscore the French aspect. The script logo reflects the girly but clear and informative style of the content. The tagline I wrote is descriptive but concise and explains precisely what the site is all about.
I designed this WordPress website to highlight the weely blog entries and grow traffic to the site which is now up to over 40,000 views and almost 6,000 comments. Typical views this month topped 300 per day. Using Headway, I provided a completely custom layout for Veronique to meet all her needs.
I designed unique oval business cards to compliment her website.
The resources page is full of timeless gems for travellers to France.
I worked with illustrator Jeanne McKay to make a feminine, unmistablably French mascot who clearly lives in Seattle.
The contact page shows off the wonderful watercolor mascot by Jeanne McKay.
The about page features an extra large photo so you can see the face behind all the wonderful posts on the site.
As with the other page titles, "Accolades" works in both French and English.
