As a growing startup, Simple Energy often submits proposals and presentations to potential clients all over the world. This versatile pocket folder helps sales people deliver their materials to utilities in a way that aligns with Simple Energy brand characteristics: clean, simple, and innovative.

 

The Problem
Simple Energy submits proposals to utilities all around the world. The folder should accommodate for different sizes of paper in stacks of about 50 pages.

 

The Solution
To accommodate for paper size, the folder is as wide as ANSI standard and as tall as the A4 standard.

In consideration of the volume of the contents, the middle pocket and the tri-folds have a small rise. (It can be collapsed if the space is not needed.)

 

To appropriately contain the bulk of the paper, the folder has three panels. The expanded pocket is in the middle so that paper will not fall out of the folder as it is opened. The tri-fold helps ensure that the paper will remain secure and not fall out as it is handled.

 

To reduce bulk and eliminate the need for glue or velcro, the tabs on the front are designed to easily slide in and out of the slits. This also happens to be more environmentally friendly.
