"The Seasoned Four-Iron" (18"x22" acrylic with some metallic paints) - painted in 2010
A customer approached me at work (Lansdowne Road) one day and asked if I could paint his favorite golf club. He wanted every scratch, dent, and scuff in tact, so It is still one of the most closely detailed things I have ever painted

"The Garnet & The Old Gold" (3'x4' - acrylic) - Painted in 2010, DonatedAfter decades of sitting high atop North Campus, Pike crest was finally pulled off the front of the 360 South Lumpkin house roof in 2009, the summer it was torn down.  The Fall '06 class salvaged the weather-worn relic and, after being completely repainted, it was displayed in the new River Road house in 2010.

"Heineken Cap on Hardwood" (16"x18" acrylic) painted in early 2010This was one of more difficult projects because I tried to mimic the bokeh blurriness on the back of the cap.  I ended up changing it to appeal to my clients preference, but this is still the photo I prefer.

Below are my first, truly personal-pleasure works.  I call them the Four Hoursemen, having nothing to do with horses but with their significance to me at the time they were each painted.
"Robert Zimmerman" (12"x12" acrylic) painted in Spring of 2008Such a cultural icon, there was simply no other place I wanted to start than with Bob Dylan.
"Poker Face" (12"x12" acrylic) painted in Summer of 2008After Heath Ledger's death, his character portrayal of the joker became undoubtedly real and was something I truly wanted to capture - growing up a Batman fan myself especially.
"The Bulletproof Tiger" (12"x12" acrylic) - done in fall of 2008
Having grown up a Braves fan since birth, I knew all and well this reference this series made to ex-Braves closing pitcher John Rocker, and thus it made the HBO Series "Eastbound & Down" especially hilarious to myself, family, and friends.
"The Duke" (12"x12" acrylic) - done in Spring of 2009
"Eiffel Over Iberian" (18"x24" acrylic) painted in Spring of 2008Inspired by the song "Spanish Boots of Spanish Leather"

"Gump-A-Sketch" (it's a toy not a painting) - completed in 2005
I used to tutor first-graders that were behind in reading level for a semester in high school and, having spent so much time in the library surrounded by kid's toys and books, I developed a propensity for the Etch-A-Sketch.  I later did Mount Rushmore but photos are hard to come by.  Who knew, right?
