No Tempo do Verão is part of the Um Dia na Aldeia  (A day in the indigenous community) collection, created in a partnership between the publishing house and the NGO Video nas Aldeias. The NGO Video nas Aldeias offers video and film workshops to Brazilian indigenous communities, aiming at providing indigenous peoples the ability to film their own stories. The book is based on a film made by Wewito Piyãko, an Ashaninka Indian from the Amazon rainforest in Brazil.
