The Aperture Lamp is an open design lamp created from 120 identical maple veneer pieces and though the appearance looks very digital, the form was actually conceived and created by hand. The lamp is made from 20 separate hexagon pods, which attach to one another at its top and its base creating a rigid structure that is essentially two spheres, a small sphere inside and a large shpere outside.
