A winning design for the Cell magazine cover, picked by the editorial of Cell to represent the work by Andres Blanco et al. during his tenure at Boston's Children's Hospital. The research focused on epigenetics and DNA methylation process.
The cover shows DNA, the Methyl group, and how it changes organisms which the tests were run on: algae, worms and flies. The changes are represented in color: teil for the before-methylation state and yellow for the after-Methylation state.
