EN This is my final project for the Animation Practice module at the University of Lincoln BA (Hons) Animation course. The project is a animated short film. The briefing determined that the film should depict a chase between two characters. I chose the classic Tom & Jerry-esque formula of cat and mouse. It is a simple concept and can be nicely worked around. The project was developed during roughly two months, and with the help of my teachers it was a sucess. I tried to push my limits farther than I ever did and I'm really happy with results I achieved. I hope you all like my first short film :)
PT Esse é meu projeto final para a matéria Animation Practice no curso de Animação na University of Lincoln. O trabalho é curta animado. O briefing determinou que o filme deveria mostrar uma espécie de perseguição entre dois personagens. Escolhi a clássica fórmula Tom & Jerry de gato e rato. É um conceito simples e pode ser desenvolvido muito bem, O projeto foi completo em mais ou menos dois meses e com a ajuda dos meus professores foi um sucesso. Tentei expandir meus limites mais longe do que nunca e estou muito feliz com o resultado alcançado. Espero que vocês gostem do meu primeiro curta animado :)

Below you can see a few stills of the animatic and the final version. The last one on the right is a preliminary color test followed by the final version.
The next images shows a little bit of my animation process. First I do the rough lines on a basic layout, secondly I clean the lines and do little adjustments to the movements and finally I color everything.
