"Love and Death Among the Molluscs" is a project inspecting the power of typography in differentiating or unifying concepts. Two disparate elements - an essay on the life cycle of the oyster and a series of recipes for oyster-based dishes - are combined into one book.
The book is hand-bound. All of the design details, from paper choice to typeface and imagery were considered in the context of the source material.
