THE OBJCTIVES
To design a poster for the opera Carmen.
THE SOLUTION
By studying the opera, Carmen I felt the beautiful, vibrant yet very impactful person she was. This inspired me to create something bold but related to the tragedy Carmen ends up in. This is illustrated with the bright red blood smearing almost as beautiful and vibrant as she. The immense red color captures people’s attention. Also the details of the performance almost blends in with the smear of blood.
