If it wasn't evident, I am a "huge" fan of former president George W. Bush. He is the Richard Nixon to my Hunter S. Thompson.
This was my first political poster. It was a voting poster for the Democratic Party. Republican was a bad word in my household, and it had an impact on me. I find heavy inspiration from Barbra Kruger. Some say even a little too much. The idea here was to get people to vote and I cannot think of a better motivator than the idea of having another George W. Bush in office. This poster could be a template, for each Republican president or candidate could be placed in W.'s place and have some mud-slinging text placed in front of his or her face.
