The aim of this editorial is to provide information to the readers about “Fetishism in Fashion”. The top part of the word “fetishism” on the cover page was intentionally partly hidden to explain the “fetish subculture”, which is an underground subculture. The images used for this are made up of illustrated images and black and white photographs to form a collage. The illustrations are of items that most of us cling on to during our first few years of our lives, while the photographs shows fetish fashion. The reason behind the collaged images is basically to show that we develop fetishistic patterns at a very early stage of our lives, with or without us knowing it. Thus what we are exposed to during childhood might determine what we will become or be fetish to at a later stage in our lives, and this will also determine the kind of fashion one will gravitate towards based on their fetishistic choice.
