This book is a collection of quotes that have either inspired me, motivated me, or caused me to really think about my opinions on certain situations during my lifetime.  The idea of this piece is very personal, therefor the cover of this book was kept very simple, a piece of worn leather, just as a journal might be.  If this piece were to be made into a series the quotes inside would change based on the owner of the book.  The quotes chosen reflect me, however, they could easily change based on the owner.  The illustrations that go along with the quotes were done by myself in Illustrator using a wacom cintiq.  The textures were then added in Photoshop. All type was set in Indesign and then imported into Photoshop to add a worn effect.  The cover is tooling leather that I stained with brown shoe polish then stitched for extra stability.
