For the Spring 2013 SCAD Study Abroad quarter in Lacoste, France, the Methods of Contextual Research class worked with Allure Energy, creators of the Eversense smart thermostat.
The objective was to provide the client with insights regarding daily life for European residents. This included secondary research as well as primary (surveys, interviews, shadowing, fly-on-the-wall observations) in small towns such as Lacoste and Menerbes, as well as large cities such as Paris, Barcelona, Aix-en-Provence, and Berlin.
