Hello!


These 3 illustrations are made by my on my free time. I was really inspired by some artists here on Behance so explored this illustration style.

While I was drawing these illustrations my goals were(thinking behind):
- find right proportions of body parts to make them cute
- choose right  pose/angle of character. I researched other similar illustrations and felt that lots of flat characters looks freaky and prepared to eat their friends brains so I tried to escape that feeling and make them friendly.
- show movement as dance is all about flow and movement
- use as little details as possible, they even do not have fingers or eyes as I found out it distracts viewer from feeling and understanding a dance move. Also by design these illustrations should be used as background image and scaled down to 5cm*5cm - I don't need details.
- picked very saturated colors because  dancers are very expressive people and always want to show off.
