Photoshoot developed for Art Direction of Advertising class. For this assignment we we’re asked to choose an emerging fragrance to create imagery for. My partner and great art director Besty Aplling and I, chose Marc Jacobs, Mod Noir perfume.
"In concepting we thought of how a scent named Mod Noir could transform your life, which lead us to the idea of living graphically, a more contemporary take on the fun and graphic life style of Mod. Where the classically Mod motifs emit from the bottle to transform your environment to a more graphic counter part." - Betsy Appling, art director.
For the photoshoot, we actually created a hand made background studio based. Here is the final image chosen by the art director to compose the adv material:
