Sebastião Salgado: Artist Catalog & Promotional Item

Sebastião Salgado, one of the world’s most respected photographers, presents iconic black-and-white images spanning thirty years of his career. More than thirty-five photographs from give series, including Genesis, Workers and Migrations are on view.

Salgado photographed the plantations when he visited Africa. Most of Salgado’s photographs reflect lives of the lower class and refugees, especially those in Lation America and Africa. He also photographs of what’s left in nature, as well as everything/everyone else associated in nature.
Salgado’s photographs are all in black and white, which emphasizes (or subdues) the contrast of his subjects and background. Also, several of his pictures contain a motif (usually masses of people).

This inspired me to create a catalog in black and white with a slight cinematic effect. In addition, the promotional item is a craft jar with a miniature black and white photo to capture the nature of where the artist took his photographs at.
Perfect bind with adhesive on a hard back cover.
