City Three Peaks - Virtual Reality Experience

On Monday 7 September 2015, a select few individuals will undertake the longest civilian abseil in history – The City Three Peaks. They will abseil down The Leadenhall Building (The Cheesegrater), 20 Fenchurch Street (The Walkie Talkie) and 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin). The event will raise funds for The Outward Bound Trust and The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

Working with Magpie Studio, Eye Revolution created Virtual Reality (VR) content to give the abseilers an immersive insight into what they are letting themselves in for. Putting on the VR headset instantly transports them to one of the abseil launch points at the top of The Leadenhall Building. They can look out over the London cityscape and, if they dare, look down at the tiny streets over 200 metres below. The 360 really shows them what the point of no return looks like!
