This assignment was created after recieving an article titled "Spontaneous Effort" and obtaining an object for the imagry. I chose a box of screws as my  object, which would ultimately be the only photographs throughout the book. By playing with pattern, depth of field, and color, I created interesting images that were unique from spread to spread. Many spreads feature a lot of negative space, to offset the colored heavier spreads. The typefaces I used for this book were Glober, a thin san serif typeface, and Questa, a serif typeface, which I found on fontsquirrel.com. I chose Neenah Solar white paper in eggshell as my paper stock because it has a bit of texture, but is a reasonable white paper stock. Since I feel screws are a serious subject matter, as they are a fundamental building component to the structures we are most likely standing in, I chose a blue teal and a peachy orange color that offset this serious side, and would brighten up the images and mood.
