Brief: Create four pages of an original interactive tablet magazine.
I created Drop, an electronic dance music magazine. Drop doesn't merely cover big-name DJs and events, but also discusses the evolution of and direction that the scene is moving towards. Live music, especially in the electronic dance scene, is increasingly becoming a visual experience in addition to an auditory one. The interative components of the publication is extremely beneficial to demonstrating the visual side of music performance. For instance, above the deck leading into the article, readers can scroll through four cover images that give them an idea of what the coming article discusses. On the interactive page, readers click the grey boxes on the right side of the screen so they can compare stages from several DJs who are all on the cutting edge of creating a visual music experience for their audience.
