This illustration represents the duality and balance that we seek in our life. The delicate balance between the things that fill our hearts with happiness and the hard lessons that sometimes breaks it. For me happiness and sadness are choices, and the required balance on the tight rope is how you face different situations in life.
The illustration is based on a Ying Yang composition, in which each part shows a different side of the same woman. One represents happiness facing towards a full heart, the other one representing sadness and facing towards a broken heart and the rope in the middle of both represents the thin balance between those.

Esta ilustración representa la dualidad y el equilibrio que todos buscamos en nuestras vidas, ese delicado balance entre las cosas que nos llenan el corazón y nos hacen felices y las lecciones de la vida que algunas veces logran romperlo. Para mi la felicidad o la tristeza son una decisión y ese obligado equilibrio sobre la cuerda floja es como afrontamos cada situación que se nos presenta en la vida.
La ilustración esta basada en una composición de Ying Yang en la que se muestra dos facetas de una misma mujer. Una de ellas representa la felicidad dirigiendo su cara hacia un corazón, la otra representa la tristeza dirigiendo su cara hacia un corazón roto. La cuerda en medio de ambas representa el delgado equilibrio entre estos dos estados.
