A book design for one chapter of the book "Grim Diaries Prequel". The story is a familiar one but with a slight evil twist. The story tells of a young girl who discovers who her family really is and the meaning behind the beautiful and famous red cape. The title of the book is written in "anguish languish" which is a homophonic translation of words to create humour. Ladle rat rotten hut therefore translates to Little red ridding hood.
The book cover showcases an eariness to it which gives a tad hint of what the story is about if you just look a little closer. The book is typset to help the readers eyes flow, engage them with breaks and emphasis to create an emotion.
