Photography Experiment 1: Photograms

  • Photograms are created without the use of a camera and by placing objects on light-sensitive photo paper and exposing them to direct light. This has to be done in a dark room because if the photo paper is exposed to light it turns black while developing it. This project helped me understand certain basic concepts of photography like exposure time, composition and photo developing process. The composition and exposure time were to be carefully studied and experimented on in order to capture these photograms.
