Platō redefines commensality through active cooking, art and play.
Platō is a dining table that balances on the diner’s knees and acts as the surface on which the meal is served. The table’s shapes are sitespecific to Montreal’s geography, with the central groove representing the St. Lawrence River. We turned what is often a passive design, a table into a source of active engagement and thought shared with the person sitting accross from you.
