Evil Twin Brewing started out as a small company in 2010, but because of it’s delicous, out of the ordinary drinks it quickly into a well known worldwide brand. There are a gypsy brewing company, meaning they do not have their own facilities, but rather operate out of others breweries worldwide, making “one-off” beers, as well as a couple year round brews. This results in a wide vareity of choices, with high alcohol content, and funky flavors. The company is considered amongst the absolute elite in the world.
For the redesign, I wanted to pull influence from the coloring of traditional scandinavian/danish folk art, as well as the and shape of the heavy forms of modern day graphic design. I was really inspired by the furniture design in the scandinavian countries. They have very elegant forms, but are completely functional. I wanted to portray this simplicity in my redesign Also, I wanted to create an intricate pattern much like that of scandinavian blankets and embrodery designs. I simply hope to be inspired by the very unique beers the EvilTwin Brewing Co. has to offer, They are funky in both flavour as well as title, which I hope to emulate.
