Those photographed films were exposed in the past 10 years but have never been revealed. Over time, the latent images fade away from the gelatin films as they fade away from my memory.
I wanted thereby questioning the reality of the images and of my memory. Can these photographs exist if no one will never see them and if the photographer can no longer imagine them ? Does the mere fact of being caught on a support made these pictures a reality ?
There is a strong relationship between the real and the visible since forever. Through science, this particularity has disappeared and joins the world of the invisible. An invisible thing may now exist and can be created from scratch. Like memories.
With this project, I want to represent images whose existence is not determined and thereby establish a similar experience of the Schrödinger’s cat paradox.
