This project was for Typography 3, in my second year at York University's Bachelor of Design program. The assignment was to choose song lyrics or a quote from a poem and 'make it come to life' in a 2 page magazine spread. We were to depict emotion and character through type and minimal images. The lyrics I chose are from Kanye West's song "Can't tell me Nothing". I called this project 'Kanye's Journal' to emphasize my attempt at creating spreads with raw emotion and journal-entry quality.
