PROJECT OVERVIEW
Ye Ole Fashioned Ice Cream & Sandwich Cafe has been a part of the low country’s history since 1972. Owned by the Lapin and Cole families, Ye Ole Fashioned has 6 locations in South Carolina. With menus that range from rocky road ice cream to their world famous BLT, the café creates a nostalgic experience for its regular customers.
GOALS & OBJECTIVES
Looking to the future, Ye Old Fashioned needs to rebrand to stay current in the market yet still hold on to its quaint and fun feel. Introducing their ice cream recipes to local supermarkets are just some of the ideas that will enhance customer loyalty and create opportunities for new customers.
TARGET AUDIENCES
The target audience is current customers which are primarily families while also targeting mid 20 to 30 year olds and young parents.

The logo system is based on circles. The hand made type
speaks to the hand-crafted quality of Ye Ole Fashioned.

The goal of the in-store graphic was to become an
extension or manifestation of the new logo system

The goal of the packaging is to create a fun approach
to the traditional pint of ice cream in the food retail industry.
DIRECT MAILER
The goal of this mailer is to announce the new look of an old
hometown favorite. It is also to gain new customers in the area.
The mailer has a light-hearted message. It advertises the popular
flavors at Ye Ole Fashioned in the form of a wedding invitation.The
idea is that different flavors are getting married and everyone is invited.
