Expanding on the forms that I discovered in the Accordion Sculpture, the CMY Accordion is another material investigation into the potential of the pleated window shade off cuts. I dyed the pieces in several shades of blue, yellow and magenta before arranging them into the forms that fan out and nest together. Blending the elements from Yellow to Magenta gives the piece movement and transformation across the plane of the piece.
