' G R O U N D E D ' - C O F F E E S T A I N R E P E A T S
As someone prone to spills and strong cups of coffee, this design is part of an ongoing series of patterns I've been making based on happy accidents. To generate the texture of coffee stains, I left coffee grounds on a stack of thin papers, scanned the stains and edited the pieces below into repeat. I designed the units to be used in two colorways - the first, lighter and saturated is for tea stains while the second, darker and desaturated accomodates the natural look of coffee stains.
