I wanted to keep making repeat patterns so I decided to use my love for Legend of Zelda as an inspiration. Growing up with the series, it's safe to say that LoZ remains as one of my major influences in my work. There have been a lot of releases since its conception in the 80s, so I stuck with a classic that introduced me to the series as a kid: The Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64.
I wanted to incoporate the items used throughout the game specifically, such as the guide, Navi, who follows the protagonist & helps with tips in his adventure. I included quest items, weapons, & rupees (the source of money in the series).
