Foliage Drawing
A multimedia foliage drawing
Drawing from real life we spent time in the outdoor conservatory drawing multiple sketches of foliage to be compiled into a large scale multimedia drawing.
This 3 ' x 1' large scale piece was done using pen and ink and charcoal. The two mediums together create a sense of harsh and softness that really attracts the viewers attention. The organic flow pulls your eye through the piece, along with repetition of the different patterns.
