Classics N’ America was a booklet designed for people interested in simple American dishes. While the recipes are a one-time use the booklet  folds out to encourage people to keep it by folding out into a keepsake poster.

The overall concept for this project came from looking at handwritten elements for a ‘homeylook’. Such as chalkboards and recipe cards. From there it evolved around “N’” dishes, such as Mac N’ Cheese. The color scheme runs with a two toned colors a yellow and black. Running with the classic theme, inspirations came from vintage and classic packaging design that would be found in the industrial revolution era when everything was mass produced and had the same feel. The layouts are different for each meal but they still looked like the “packaging” came from the same production line. Adding the quote in a loose font was the homey touch from where the idea started from.
