Caesarstone Workplace Design: Element of Surprise

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
This was a collaborative project with a fellow classmate.  We were to design a succesful workplace environment  based on a specified program for employees of the Ceasarstone Quartz company.  Through our design, we were also to focus on ergonomics, daylight features, connections to nature, the importance of personalization opportunities, privacy, sustainability, and noise control.

Throughout this process, my main focus was designing for the second floor of the building.
The goal of this conference room is to promote collaboration and influence creativity. This is done by use of vibrant colors and patterns. The space has also been maximized for collaboration activities by providing multiple "write-on" surfaces; a whiteboard, glass wall, and glass table top. This is an informal conference room where innovative thinking is born.
A breakout area in the office which allows employees to get away from their desk and enjoy a new environment. Here they are offered ergonomic flexibility (standing, leaning, or sitting). The height adjustable work surface, and angle adjustable ipads help to promote this as well. This space can be used to collaborate with others through the glass surface and the whiteboards, or it can be used as a single workstation.
