Tiger Riding
Man apathetically rides tiger near the moon as fireworks go off. This was the project we had for CMPA, and I chose to make the most absurd scenario I could imagine.
Astro-Fez
Continuing with my theme of searching for the most absurd scenario to use for a project, I made Astro-Fez. There's a sort of continuity here, as this fez is the same fez in the Tiger Riding project, and this is also the same astronaut picture.
Desert Scene
Despite my initial reticence to learn yet another 3D modeling / animation software, I enjoyed Cinema 4D. This is the first project I've ever done with a bump map, as I didn't know that they had such profound effects on the appearance of a scene or model. What did I learn? Bump map everything you make.
Play More Nintendo Stamp
When we were tasked with making a stamp in Adobe Illustrator, I was completely in the dark about how to use it. Of all the programs I've used in recent memory, Illustrator was the most difficult to use for me. I constantly found myself wrestling with the curve's paths, never getting them to do quite what I wanted. Despite that, I somehow managed to complete the assignment and make a recognizable NES controller.
