When MTV has launched its on-air broadcasting in Hungary, a logo design campaign was arranged in co-operation with ARC billboard contest. It was mandatory by rules to all submissions should be based on the company's official trademark. Thus further requirements were applicable:

 

• Maintain the anatomy of letter “M” including the sides and shadows

• Keep the diagonally written “TV” letters

• Use the “Music Television” words in full width

• All submissions must be in vector graphics format
