I always have the need to have a creative project going on. While at Staples this became “Hidden Agenda”- The reality of a busy corporate business.

Staples was going through an intense transitional period. The business was re-shaping itself. It was crazy. Every inch of the business was feeling the pressure. Like many senior managers and directors, I was pulled into countless (sometimes pointless) meetings that dragged on for endless amounts of time. It was draining for myself, my team and all of my colleagues.

To keep myself creative (and sane), I silently captured the focus, tiredness and emotions of the people around me. These little snapshots of time were only revealed to me when I looked through my hidden-point-and-shoot pictures at the end of each day. The realism in each image shows an unfiltered perspective of the people inside an uber busy corporate business and how they went about their daily tasks.

I have a huge respect for the people I worked with at Staples. This period of time (2013 - 2015) was truly manic. Tempers and inner feelings could have boiled over time and time again. This wasn't the case. Instead there was an healthy openness to vent problems and talk them through.
