Gathers No Moss, a contemporary, portable plant emporium was “sprouting up” in San Antonio, and needed a logo, pronto. Turns out, the owner has a friend over at Southern Living Magazine, and she wanted to feature his concept right away. GNM is a plant purchasing pop-up (or "sprout up") that allows urban landscapers to select herbs, succulents, cacti and flowering greenery planted in repurposed containers and vintage gear. We both liked the idea of referencing a topiary shape, but didn't want to lose the fact that the shop also offered vintage knick knacks and vessels, so I added a bit more shape to the top tier to visually broaden the spectrum.
