This arm cuff was inspired by Van Gogh's Poppy painting. Van Gogh was known for his raw beauty, emotional brush work, and bold color use. I specifically referenced his impasto painting techniques and color choice. I used forging, chasing, and forming techniques to make the sterling silver cuff. The petals have copper sheet in-between the leather to add support and structure. I used stack stitch, back stitch, bead bezels, and brick stitch edging techniques.
