Suzy is my father's youngest sister. She spent most of her childhood in Italy, during which time she must have developed her love of sky blue, one that matches her eyes, and her mother's and grandmother's as well. Suzy initially selected a subdued pallette for her quilt, one that eventually developed into a vibrant specturm of floral brights to be displayed like checkers on the diagonal. Many of the fabrics are designed by Kaffe Fasset. The quilting was done by Donna Adams in Florence, MA.
